4 DIY Buttermilk Beauty Secrets for Self Care Sunday

It's Sunday and that means it's time for some self care.

Quarantine life is rough for those of us who miss rolling around on the mats. What’s not to miss about hair pulling, gi burns, cauliflower ear stinky dude sweat?  Everything. But we’re tough and we can deal with our “new normal.”

These past few weeks, I have gone back to being more a bit more girly in my routine — doing things to help my hair skin and nails while they are all getting a much-needed break. My favorite so far has been a tip from my cousin, incorporating buttermilk into my beauty regimen. I’m impressed!  I have been using buttermilk to brighten my skin and reverse some of that aging that I swear the first couple years of getting smashed as a white belt has caused. I have been *trying* to do the quickie at least a couple times a week along with morning and night use of Save My Face daily anti-aging face serum.

Worried about those loose strands getting caught up in the goo? Worry no more.  Our Happy Hair Headbands are great for more than keeping those wild locks out of your face on the mats. They’re great for containing your mane when washing your face or slathering the good stuff all over your face and neck. I'm wearing the Red Rose Happy Hair Headband in the photo.
